Ghislain Lafrance, M. Sc.

Co-founder of TeraXion in 2000, held several key management functions, namely Operations, R&D and more importantly business development. Mr. Lafrance became CEO of TeraXion in 2019, he then led a major overhaul of the company’s strategic plan ahead of a major BDC investment. In 2021, he was instrumental in the acquisition of TeraXion by indie Semiconductor (NASDAQ:INDI), a $200 million transaction. Subsequently at indie, he served as Executive VP until 2024 after playing a key role in the acquisition of EXALOS in Switzerland. Prior to 2000, Mr. Lafrance was Head of Technology at INO and Project Manager at EXFO. In addition to serving on TeraXion’s board of directors, he has also chaired the BoD of SA2GE. Mr. Lafrance holds master’s and bachelor’s degrees in electrical engineering from Laval University. Strong from his 30+ years of experience, Mr. Lafrance has a very wide area of expertise:
